My goodness, has it been a month? Sorry about that dear, readers – but as Johnny Cash alluded to in our title here; we’ve been a little busy. And, it’s not letting up! This week it’s off to Denver for the DMEC Annual Conference for two sessions (we’re at booth 409 stop by and say Hi!).

Be on the lookout in this blog for updates from all of the various legislative bodies as well as our takes on Adventures in Absence Management and Accommodations, but wanted to share with you some of what we’ve been doing over the past month. First, a session on “What we Know” as it relates to the impending rollout of both the Oregon and Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave Plans.

And finally, and most urgent to all of you out there: a special session on the implications of the recent Supreme Court Ruling “Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization”. The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Dobbs case, overruling Roe v.
